Joining the Lackawanna Medical Society at their third annual First Friday Scranton Health Fair in early June was incredible. Staff members, Tiffany, Sabrina, and Kylie, were able to talk to many people from Scranton about the medial marijuana program, and about Columbia Care. They were able to explain to people on how to sign up for the program, as well as the various qualifying conditions. With that, they were also able to educate people on the various forms of medical marijuana that are available to those who participate in the program. Overall, this event was a great experience for Columbia Care!
Participating in the NEPA Walk for Epilepsy this past May was an amazing experience. Columbia Care staff members, Tiffany and Sabrina, met with many people to help support a great cause. During this event, they were able to help educate epilepsy patients and their families about Columbia Care, medical marijuana and how it helps with many of the symptoms of epilepsy. With that, they were able to help those interested in the program learn the steps of the process to sign up for medical marijuana. This amazing event raised over $11,500 for the Epilepsy Foundation of Eastern PA!
